Our goal is to create a monthly art event in North Long Beach, that will promote artists, musicians, students and performers by providing a neighborhood venue to show and sell their work. Also, at each Art Event Project Oasis hopes to provide opportunities for local citizens to participate in art by having hands-on displays where attendees can experiment with a wide range of media such as stone carving, painting and musical instruments. There will be dedicated booth space. Each space will be approximately 10' x 10'. An artist or several artists may share a space.

Our focus is original works of art. It is expected that approximately 75% of works displayed must be originals. Beyond that Copies (prints) are permitted. Exception if the medium is print based such as photography etc.

We are anticipating the first event to take place in September. Once we have the numbers the booth space will be sold on a first come basis. Artists living in or with ties to North Long Beach are strongly encouraged. We hope to have somewhere between 25 and 35 booths for this first event.
